Sea

Sea or marine is a broad collection of salt water and is associated with the ocean.

In sea water is a mixture of 96.5% pure water and 3.5% other materials such as salts, dissolved gases, organic materials and particles not dissolved. The main physical properties of sea water is determined by the 96.5% pure water.

History

Sea, according to history, was formed 4.4 billion years ago, which initially are very acidic with boiling water (with temperatures around 100 ° C) due to warming of the Earth at the time. Acid sea water occurs because the Earth's atmosphere was filled with carbon dioxide. Water acidity is what causes the high weathering and causing sea water to be salty as it is today. At that time, the tsunami waves often occur because of frequent asteroid struck the Earth. Ocean tides that occur at the time also of type mammoths or high / very high because of the distance the Moon is so close to Earth.

Beginning

According to experts, the beginning of the sea consists of various versions, one version of a fairly well-known is that at that moment the Earth began to cool due to start decreasing volcanic activity, in addition to the earth's atmosphere at that time covered by volcanic dust that cause obstruction of the Sun for entry into the Earth. As a result, moisture in the atmosphere from condensing and forming rain. This rain (which may be the type of mammoth rain too) that fills the basin-formed depressions in the earth until
ocean.

Slowly, the amount of carbon dioxide that is diatmosfer began to decrease due to dissolved in seawater and react with carbonate ions to form calcium carbonate. As a result, the sky became so bright sunlight shining on the Earth to re-enter and result in the evaporation process so that the volume of sea water on Earth is also experiencing a reduction and the parts on the Earth which was initially submerged in the water began to dry. Rock weathering process continues due to rains that occurred and was carried into the oceans, causing sea water more salty.

At 3.8 billion years ago, the planet Earth began to look blue because the sea that had formed them. The earth's temperature gets colder because the water in the ocean plays a role in absorbing heat energy that exists, but at the time it is estimated there are no life forms on earth.

Life on Earth, according to experts, starting from the sea (life begin in the ocean). However, this theory is still a debate today.

In the results of geological discovery in 1971 on the rocks in South Africa (the estimated age of 3.2 to 4 billion years old) showed the existence of rice-sized fossils of primitive bacteria that are estimated to live in the boiling mud on the seabed. This may answer the question about the early moments of life and in the ocean where it occurs early in life. While marine itself is the study of various biota, or living creatures in the sea which need to be utilized by the fishery business.
